Key in your AI assistant

After your call, your Key desk holds the places you and your expert saved. Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini to Key and your assistant can read that desk with you: plan your days around it, work out where to stay, or find another expert.

You need a Key account with a password. Your trips appear once you have booked a call. The address to connect is https://key.new/api/mcp.

Connect it

Claude. Open Connectors, choose Add, then Add custom connector. Name it Key, paste the address, then choose Connect and sign in to Key. Or use the Connect Claude button on My bookings, which copies the address for you.

ChatGPT. In Settings, turn on developer mode, then add a new app with the address and choose OAuth sign-in. ChatGPT offers this on its paid plans.

Gemini. In the Gemini web app, open Connected Apps, add a custom app with the address and sign in to Key.

The first time, Key asks you to confirm on key.new before anything is shared. Key connects only to these three assistants.

What to ask

  • “What trips do I have on Key?”
  • “What places did my expert save for my Tokyo trip?”
  • “Where should I stay to be near those places?”
  • “Make me a day plan from the places on my desk.”
  • “Find me a Key expert in Paris.”

What it can and can’t do

Your assistant can see your Key trips (the expert, the city and the date), read the places on each trip’s desk with their notes, suggest an area to stay near them, and find Key experts with a link to book on key.new.

It only reads. It never gets your calls’ recordings or transcripts, it can’t change your desk or your account, and it can’t see payments or pay for anything. Booking a call always happens on key.new.

Your data

What Key sends your assistant becomes part of your conversation there, under that provider’s terms and your settings with them. Key keeps a record of which tool was used, for which trip and when, never what you said. The Privacy Policy has the details.

To disconnect, open My bookings and choose Disconnect next to the assistant. Questions go to hello@key.new.
